Meet Pastor Ruth Wong 

Pastor Ruth Wong was born in China and raised in Hong Kong. She holds degrees from Lutheran Theological Seminary (B. Th.), and Alliance Theological Seminary (M. Div.). At the age of 16 she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior, and responded to God’s calling into full time ministry in 1982 while employed as a chief accountant in Hong Kong.

Pastor Ruth has served in Cantonese and Mandarin pastoral ministries in Hong Kong. She also served 13 years as the Mandarin Pastor for a church in San Francisco before joining the pastoral staff of CBC in 2004.
