Meet Pastor Jenny Quey 

Rev. Dr. Jenny Quey, Senior Pastor was born and raised in Hong Kong. She came to know the Lord at the age of 15 and sensed a call to ministry when she was 17. She received her B.A. in Sociology from Hong Kong Baptist University, and both her M. Div. and D. Min. from Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.

Pastor Jenny has been serving at CBC since 1990, where she started the Cantonese ministry. She was ordained that same year. Since 1998, she has served as the Senior Pastor, and in 2002, she established the Mandarin ministry.

Pastor Jenny has served on numerous denominational and inter-denominational boards and committees including American Baptist Churches of the West, American Baptist Churches of the USA, and the National Conference of Chinese Christian Churches of North America. She has also preached on a weekly radio program in San Francisco.

Her husband, Art, graduated from Fuller Theological Seminary with a M. Div. and has also been ordained. Together, they serve in the church with a passion for carrying out the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. They have two children, Daniel and Rebecca.
